Updating the Needed for Discharge / Transfer Column

Needed for Discharge / Transfer Column

The Needed For Discharge / Transfer column will display what needs to happen before the patient can be Discharged or Transferred:


Updating the Needed for Discharge / Transfer Column

To update the Needed For Discharge / Transfer column, click in the cell of the patient you would like to update and the Discharge / Transfer Planning dialogue box will be displayed:


The EDD, MFFD and Planning columns are also updated in the Discharge / Transfer Planning dialogue box. The Needed For Discharge / Transfer section of the Discharge / Transfer Planning dialogue box is highlighed below:


Select what needs to happen before the patient can be discharged or transferred from the available options:


If you have selected Other, make sure to complete the free-text box provided:


Then finally click on to update the eWhiteboard.
