Annotations

In PPM+, the Clinical Documents are further arranged into type. The first of which is an Annotation.

Some examples of an Annotation: clinic letter, a letter to a patient, operation details.

Once you have selected Clinical Documents in the Actions column, click on an Annotation and the details will be displayed on the right:



Annotation Tab

The first tab is for the Annotation Content and Annotation Details. The Annotation Details of the letter are displayed below the Annotation Content and include: Author, who it was Entered By and when it was Dictated then Typed.



Send To Tab

The second and last tab is to display who the annotation was send to and if any copies were also sent. In the example below, the annotation was sent to the patient's GP and a copy was sent to the patient:

Documentation created in epro is also displayed under Clinical Documents. Documents created in epro can be shown within the PPM+ system by clicking on the Epro entries:



Epro documents will be displayed on the right with document details and the preview of the document. Click on the to open up the document in full view with print option:



The Epro Document tab will include the status of the document, the author's details and when the document was issued.


Additional Info

Additional details can be found on the Additional Info tab, such as Consultant Name, Owner Name and Approval Date:



File Links

Another type of Clinical Document is a File Link. These can be Discharge Advice Notices, letters from A&E or Discharge Initiation Documents. The documents can be accessed the same way to the Epro Documents. Click on the entry you require then the details of the document will appear with option to click on or if it is an external document click on :

Additional details can be found on Details tab such as Event Date, Creator details and Caption name of the document:
